- Postdoctoral Fellow, Entomology, Carleton University
Jayme Lewthwaite is a Liber Ero Postdoctoral Fellow whose research combines community science data with advanced statistical models to understand how insect distributions and populations are changing through time. Her work helps identify conservation priorities and inform decisions about species at risk. She completed her PhD at Simon Fraser University, and serves on the Arthropod Species Subcommittee of the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada (COSEWIC). Outside of work, she can be found chasing insects in her spare time.
