Jasper Crockford

(She/Her)

I am a Medical Science Master’s student with a significant interest in dementia risk, resilience, and progression. The objective of my research is to develop a deeper understanding of how factors related to fertility and reproduction, particularly menopause and estradiol-related decline, may influence dementia risk in older adult women. My research framework examines whether menopause represents a critical window for dementia prevention strategies, with the goal of uncovering meaningful clinical insights for women at greater risk of dementia. By integrating both scientific inquiry and clinical experience, I aim to bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and practical applications. This approach has allowed me to appreciate the potential for research to directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life for women globally.
