- Quantitative Marine Ecologist, University of Tasmania
I'm a quantitative marine ecologist working at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), University of Tasmania. I'm interested in both physical and biological processes that influence the structure and functioning of marine species communities, particularly near the seafloor. During my recent PhD-project, I've developed a new method to predict the availability of food-particles at the seafloor, and applied the method to better map the distribution of seafloor biodiversity in East Antarctica.
