I am a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of Reading, currently researching trait evolution in plants.

Previously, I was a lecturer at the University of Reading, teaching conservation biology.

Before this, I undertook a PhD on flowering plant diversification at the University of Bath, for which I was awarded the Irene Manton Prize for the best PhD in botany (2025).

My research interests are broad, spanning trait evolution, diversification, and ethnobotany, and I have a focus on the cactus family currently.
