Jacqueline Broadhead is Director of the Global Exchange on Migration, at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS), at the University of Oxford, managing knowledge exchange and research projects which promote the reciprocal sharing of expertise among academics, policy makers, and practitioners. She is Academic Champion for Policy Engagement Champion across the university and chairs the Oxford Policy Engagement Network (OPEN.) Jacqui’s own work focusses on local government and integration. In 2025 she published Welcoming Cities, drawing on 9 years working with UK cities on their approach to integration and inclusion. Jacqui previously worked in local government; leading one of the first programmes to accept refugees through the Syrian VPRS Scheme in 2015. She is a trustee of Justice Together Initiative, aiming to improve access to immigration advice in the UK and was recently a commissioner for the independent Commission on the Integration of Refugees.
