Jacob Fairless Nicholson is an Associate Lecturer in Human Geography at University College London's Department of Geography. His research interests span historical, cultural, political, and urban geography, and his principal research focus is on spaces of education and knowledge production, including the local and global politics of education, and the intersections of education and empire in Britain and the Caribbean. In 2018 Jacob was awarded a British Research Council Fellow at the Library of Congress, Washington, DC and in 2020 a Junior Research Fellow at UCL Institute of Advanced Studies.
