Jacob A Tennessen

I am an evolutionary geneticist with a current focus on parasitic diseases like malaria and schistosomiasis. I've published dozens of peer-reviewed papers. Major topics have included: population genomics of humans, mosquitoes, or other animals; the genetic basis of host-parasite compatibility; molecular evolution of the immune system; etc. In my career I have worked on frogs, strawberries, snails, and various other organisms.
