Jack is a Yuin and Tasmanian living on Gadabanud Meereeng. Jack is an ecological researcher specialising in wildlife and fire ecology, with a strong focus on the management of biocultural landscapes.
He is a Senior Lecturer within the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences and Assistant Dean Indigenous Research and Partnerships within the Faculty of Science at the University of Melbourne. His work integrates Traditional Ecological Knowledge with contemporary environmental science to support ecosystem restoration and sustainable land management.
