- PhD Candidate in Nuclear Strategy, University of Leicester
I am a PhD student at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. My doctoral research concerns American nuclear weapons policy, specifically disarming counterforce strategies.
My thesis focuses on the emerging efficacy of 'conventional counterforce' instruments and the implications presented by strategic conventional weapons. My research interests also include missile defense, hypersonics, anti-submarine warfare, advanced aerospace applications, air warfare, naval tactics, strategic theory, and military science generally.
I was previously a Nuclear Security Research Fellow at the ERA Cambridge Fellowship in 2023, I participated in the 2025 cohort of the Public Policy and Nuclear Threats (PPNT) program at the University of California Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (UC IGCC), and I am presently affiliated with the NATO Defense College as a Junior Associate Fellow (as of 2025).
