I am a Research Fellow at the Welsh Institute of Performance Science (WIPS), supporting a collaborative partnership between the University of South Wales (USW) and the Sport Wales Institute (SWI). In this role, I contribute to applied research to enhance the performance and well-being of athletes across elite Welsh sport. Alongside this, I am a Senior Research Assistant at USW, supporting the Applied Psychology Research and Innovation Group (AP‑RIG) with a particular emphasis on sport psychology. I also lecture in psychology through the medium of Welsh, supporting bilingual education. My PhD research focused on psychophysiological recovery in athletes, with a specific emphasis on the use of Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback (HRVB) as an evidence-based technique to enhance recovery and sleep, regulate stress, and optimise performance.
