I am Professor of Organisation Studies at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. I am also an Associate Professor and Ann Brown Chair in Organization Studies at the Schulich School of Business at York University. Previously I served as Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Organizational Leadership and Associate Professor in the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University; and I was a Research Fellow with the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School. My passion is my research! I examine issues surrounding workplace equity, diversity and inclusion including gender, race, language and socio-economic status diversity. My research has been published in top-tier refereed journals (e.g., Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology); has received numerous awards (e.g., Responsible Research in Management Award); and has been featured in main media outlets (e.g., Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times).

My research has been funded by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and the Ontario Early Researcher Award. I was a visiting faculty at the University of Western Australia Business School, the University of Amsterdam, Católica Lisbon (Portugal), and RMIT University in Melbourne. I served as an Associate Editor at the Academy of Management Journal and I currently serve on the Methods Advisory Panel at the Administrative Science Quarterly.

I supervise a lab consisting of highly motivated and intellectually curious undergraduate and graduate students. I also engage in public speaking events at companies and communities and always welcome new collaborators, partnerships, and students! Finally, I am a proud mom of two young kids!
