- Associate Professor of International Relations, University of Southern Denmark
My overall research agenda covers the area of peace and security. I am principally interested in analysing processes of policy and normative change, especially in the areas of weaponised Artificial Intelligence, the use of force, United Nations peacekeeping, and more general dynamics of the UN Security Council. I am also the Principal Investigator of an ERC research project on autonomous weapons systems and international norms (AUTONORMS).
Before joining the Centre for War Studies, I was Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Kent, Canterbury (2015-2020) and a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) International Research Fellow (postdoc) with joined affiliation at United Nations University and the University of Tokyo (2013-2015).
