Professor Ilias Trispiotis is Chair in Human Rights Law at the University of Leeds. His research on conversion practices has informed parliamentary debates in the UK, and he has advised MPs and charities on legislation to prohibit conversion practices. His edited collection (with Craig Purshouse), Banning ‘Conversion Therapy’, was published with Hart Bloomsbury in 2023.
