Ignacio Cofone is the Professor of Law & Regulation of AI at the University of Oxford, Faculty of Law and Institute for Ethics in AI. He is also a governing body fellow of Reuben College and an Affiliated Fellow of the Yale Information Society Project and the Quebec AI Institute. His book, “The Privacy Fallacy: Harm and Power in the Information Economy” (Cambridge University Press 2023), was a finalist for the Donner Prize and received the Canadian Book Club Award for best book in nonfiction/education in 2024.
