Ian Hohm

(He/Him)

I am a PhD Student in Social/Personality Psychology working under the co-supervision of Jessica Tracy and Mark Schaller. Broadly, my research investigates how changes in human environments impact social values and attitudes.

In one stream of research, I use a big data approach to study seasonal cycles in the prevalence of social values and biases. In a second stream of research, I use a multi-method approach involving survey, experimental, and archival data to examine how cultural changes have shaped how people choose leaders.
