I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Australian National University working on the evolution of Australian animals. I grew up in the USA, and moved to Australia to complete my PhD, and like many herpetologists before me, I haven't gone back (yet). Most of my research focusses on identifying patterns in the way animals look, where they live, and how many species there are, so that we can better link these patterns with the forces creating them.
