Hulya is an urban planner and researcher with over 15 years of industry experience with both local government and non-government sectors. She is the principal consultant at Planning Perspectives Plus, a planning consultancy business.
Hulya completed her PhD on the role of child and youth friendly places in creating socially and environmentally sustainable neighbourhoods, with a focus on active travel and active play in journeys to school and extracurricular activities, sponsored by CRC Low Carbon Living. She currently works as a lecturer within the City Planning program at UNSW Sydney.
