Hugh Willmott

Hugh Willmott is a Professor of Management at Cit, Universiiy of London and Research Professor in Organisational Studies at Cardiff University. He has served as an Associate Editor of Academy of Management Review and Organization, and presently serves on the editorial boards of Organization Studies and Journal of Management Studies,

Professor Willmott was previously the Diageo Professor of Management Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School. He has also held appointments at Aston Business School and also at the Manchester School of Management, UMIST, where he was Professor of Organizational Analysis.

Research interests:
Organisation studies; managerial work; management education and learning; accounting in organisations and society; social theory; philosophy of social science. He has a longstanding interest in Egyptology and has collaborated with Professor Mahmoud Ezzamel, an expert on accounting in ancient Egypt, on numerous projects and publications.
