I am a chemical ecologist and my research is about the chemical communications among organisms, with focus on moth pheromone identification, biosynthesis and chemoreception of the pheromone signals. Currently I mainly work on the bio-production of insect pheromones in engineered cell factories by employing synthetic biology approaches.
