Hilda Lloréns is a cultural anthropologist whose regional specialization is the Hispanic Caribbean and Latinx US. She is currently investigating environmental racism, injustice, and women’s activism in Puerto Rico. Dr. Lloréns is the author of "Imaging the Great Puerto Rican Family: Framing Nation, Race, and Gender during the American Century" (2014) and "Making Livable Worlds: Afro-Puerto Rican Women Building Environmental Justice" (2021).
