- Lecturer, The University of Queensland
Henry is a clinical psychologist and lecturer in history at the University of Queensland, and previously held visiting fellowships at the University of Cambridge, Uppsala University, the University of Oklahoma, and the Linda Hall Library. His scholarship is situated at the intersection of science and print culture, focusing on how reading practices and the materiality of texts came to shape readers understanding of what it meant to be human. His research has received multiple awards, including the Trevor Levere Best Paper Prize, and has appeared in publications such as Isis and Studies in the History and Philosophy of Science. He is currently coediting volume 17 of the John Tyndall Correspondence, and writing a book on Darwin’s science of morals.
