Dr Jason (Heng) Jiang is a Health Economist and Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health and the Centre for Alcohol Policy Research (CAPR) at the School of Psychology and Public Health, La Trobe University. He leads several research projects funded by the ARC, NHMRC, NGOs, WHO, and state governments. His work focuses on quantitative and economic analyses of health risk factors and behaviours, health policies, and interventions. He has a particular interest in assessing the impacts of policy and program interventions on alcohol, tobacco, and drug use, as well as problem gambling and their associated social, economic and health issues. Additionally, he explores the relationships between health risk factors, non-communicable diseases, and injuries.
