Harya Dwi Nugraha

Harya is a geoscientist with a strong interest in subsurface geology and its role in sustainability.

His work spans seismic interpretation, sedimentology, and stratigraphy — with a recent focus on salt tectonics and energy transition. Currently, he serves as a researcher at the University of Bergen, Norway, and an Assistant Professor at Universitas Pertamina, Indonesia. He has been fortunate to contribute to international research collaborations and publish across both academic journals and public science platforms to help make geoscience more accessible. He is also passionate about mentoring students, communicating science clearly, and building meaningful links between research and societal impact.
