- Teaching Fellow, University of Aberdeen
I am most interested in those areas of Political Theory and the History of Political Thought, which are connected to literary criticism and language philosophy. In my research, I aim to better understand how narratives shape our society and ask what political scientists can learn from works of literature. In the last years, I have worked on theories of text and interpretation in political theory and the authors Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Jacques Derrida and Friedrich Dürrenmatt.
I hold a PhD in modern thought from the University of Aberdeen (UK) and have studied politics, political theory and the history of political thought in Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Passau (all Germany) and Exeter (UK).
