Hannah is currently a Health Sciences PhD candidate at Swansea University, investigating Baby-led Weaning with an emphasis on infant diet and intake in babies introduced to solids using this approach.
Hannah has a background in nutrition, which started with a personal interest in sports nutrition while at University studying for her BA in European Studies and French. This led to the completion of a Nutritional Therapy course in 2003 and private consultation work. She moved to the USA in 2004 gained a MSc in Human Nutrition at Bastyr University in Seattle. For her MSc thesis, Hannah examined the possible changes in the diet of parents using Baby-led Weaning and the types of foods babies weaned using this method were offered.
After returning to the UK, she was in private practice until she started her PhD in 2013.
