Dr Hannah Robert is a legal researcher and policy analyst who has worked as Senior Law Lecturer, history tutor & researcher and lawyer, with specialist expertise in legal parentage, family law, family violence, family law and legal histories of colonisation and genocide.
Hannah is the author of Paved with Good Intentions (a legal history examining settler-colonial notions of property and Aboriginal land rights among colonisers during the initial colonisation of Victoria and South Australia in the 1830s), and Baby Lost (examining the personal and legal implications of stillbirth). Hannah researches and writes about legal parentage, law and pregnancy, family law, feminism and colonial legal history. Her writing has appeared in The Conversation, the Journal of Law and Medicine, The Australian Journal of Family Law, the Australian Feminist Law Journal, the Good Weekend, Australian Feminist Studies, the Weekend Australian and edited collections.
