Dr Han/Hannah Newman is a Research Fellow in Applied Psychology in the School of Life and Medical Sciences at the University of Hertfordshire.
Han has a background in Sport and Exercise Psychology and has Chartered Psychologist status with the British Psychological Society.
Han's research interests include engagement and participation in sport, exercise, and physical activity, (with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ inclusion), as well as athlete mental health and wellbeing, and the role of physical activity and sport in improving mental health in non-athlete populations.
