Hannah Moore is an earth scientist and science communicator who specialises in bringing Earth’s stories to life through engaging, place-based experiences. She completed her PhD in Volcanology at the University of Tasmania, where her research focused on explosive basaltic eruptions, including the 1886 Mount Tarawera eruption.

Based in nipaluna Hobart, Hannah works as an educator with Australian Earth Science Education, developing hands-on earth and space science programs that encourage young people to pursue geoscience and STEM. She also runs bespoke geological tours, helping visitors uncover the stories recorded in the rocks beneath their feet.

Alongside her education work, Hannah is an editor and co-host of the Tasmanian science podcast and radio show That's What I Call Science, sharing stories from across the scientific community with a broad audience.
