• Lecturer in Applied Human Physiology | Researcher Female Health in Sports, Exercise & Physical Activity | Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, University of Leeds

I am a Lecturer in Applied Human Physiology at the University of Leeds, having relocated from Australia in 2022 graduating from my PhD in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2023.

I bring a strong foundation in sports and exercise science and clinical exercise physiology and an in-depth and interdisciplinary understanding of women's health across the life course and how this is influenced by sport, exercise and physical activity

My research focuses on empowering women's health through movement and how these are shaped by the socio-cultural, physical and geographical, and digital and technological environments from an interpersonal through to a community and social policy level.

I was one of the first registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist in the United Kingdom and am a string advocate for exercise and physical activity to prevent, diagnose and manage disease as well as empowering women to support their health and close the gender health gap.
