Haimanot Hailu is a research fellow at Health and Social Care Unit, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University.

Her work focuses on exploring perinatal weight stigma and health inequities among priority population.
Prior to her PhD, Haimanot was a lecturer and researcher at Jimma University and Saint Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College in Ethiopia. Haimanot is passionate about maternal and women’s health, and her research interest areas include weight stigma, social determinants of health, and health equity.
