Gunjan is an India-qualified lawyer with over five years of litigation experience. She currently works as an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Mahindra University. With an LL.M. from the National University of Singapore (NUS), she specialises in international arbitration and international dispute settlement. Her research focuses on understanding the conflict between investment arbitration and climate change. She also collaborates with the Sabin Centre for Climate Change Law as the National Rapporteur for Indian Climate Litigation.
In the past, Gunjan has served as a Research Assistant with the Climate Change Law and Policy vertical of the NUS Centre for International Law, as well as with the Canadian Institute for International Law Expertise, where her research explored the intersection of international economic law and environmental law.
Through her research and advocacy work, she aims to contribute to the existing discourse on how international legal regimes, whether environmental, trade, or dispute resolution, can be harnessed to address the climate crisis and strengthen accountability.
