Guilberly Louissaint

Guilberly Louissaint is a Haitian American anthropologist, cultural critic, and poet whose work examines the entanglements of sanitation, technology, religion, and science in producing medical and cultural knowledge across the Caribbean and the broader Americas. Dr. Louissaint is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology and History at Bard Early College, Brooklyn. He also runs two Substacks: Primal Poetry and DarkMountRushmore Substack.
