Currently PhD student at the University of Zaragoza. I am interested in understanding the geological history of the planet and life on it. I have worked with fossil collections during my studies as geologist in Ecuador. Since 2023, I have focused my training on paleontology. I have worked with microfossils (diatoms) to understand their relationship with climatic variables and their potential as paleoclimatic proxy. I also work on selectivity analysis in mass extinction events. Finally, my PhD thesis focuses on the diversification of benthic foraminifera in the Lower Cretaceous and its paleoenvironmental implications.
