Gregory R. Witkowski

Greg Witkowski is an associate professor of public affairs at Kean University. He is a specialist in philanthropy, disaster relief and recovery, nonprofit management, and international humanitarian relief. He has taught across the curriculum from bachelors to masters to doctoral students. Greg has enjoyed working collaboratively to build programs that advance nonprofit knowledge and improve practice. He launched the Georgetown University Press series “Philanthropy, Nonprofits, and Nongovernmental Organizations.” He helped found the first school dedicated to the study of philanthropy at Indiana University and also taught at Columbia University. His publications include three books, The Campaign State, Hoosier Philanthropy and German-American Philanthropy in Transatlantic Perspective. He was a Fulbright Scholar and a American Swiss Foundation Young Leader.
