Greg has introduced more than 42,000 first-year students to university study at the University of the Sunshine Coast. His research focuses on first year in higher education and tertiary access pathways. He has written textbooks, journal articles and presented at conferences on topics ranging from the stressors faced by contemporary university students to approaches to university assessment. His teaching career has seen him coordinate or teach more than 25 courses at the University of the Sunshine Coast including a decade of coordinating one of Australia’s largest face-to-face courses, COR109 communication and thought. He currently serves as the Discipline Leader of Enabling and Engagement Education.
