Gregory Krippa

I am a PhD candidate in Diplomacy and International Affairs at Loughborough University. My broad research focuses on power in international relations and international relations theory. My PhD research focuses on soft power in the context of sports mega-events, with a particular focus on how political concepts are applied in the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games. Previously, I studied Philosophy at King's College London and Sports Integrity at KU Leuven. I have spoken on national Croatian TV, published expert opinion for the Foreign Affairs Committee, presented at several international academic conferences, and have a number of publications under peer review in academic journals.
