Graham Dwyer is Co-Director, Trinity Centre for Social Innovation. He has previously been a visiting fellow at the RMIT University, Course Director and Discipline Leader at the Centre for Social Impact, Australia (a collaboration of Australian universities which deliver education and research with a focus on social change), and senior lecturer at University of Melbourne where he remains as an Honorary Fellow at the Faculty of Business and Economics. His research sits at the intersection of sensemaking and learning from natural hazards, and he is an author of Making Sense of Natural Disasters (Palgrave Macmillan). Before academia, he had 10 years working in senior management state government roles related to land use and development planning, legislation review, operational improvement in police and emergency service organizations, and community engagement.
