I am a Professor and Principal Investigator of a lab that investigates the molecular basis of heart failure, including the roles of sex and ageing, and the mechanisms of SARS-CoV2 cardiac injury. We are part of the IMPART Team Canada Network at Dalhousie Medicine and the Women's Health Research Institute (WHRI) at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre. Our research is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
