Giulia Sesa is a PhD Candidate at the Center for Biomedical Ethics & Law - Department of Public Health and Primary Care, KU Leuven - and the Department of Sport and Social Sciences of the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. Giulia is part of the Marie Curie Action Doctoral Training Network in Sport Ethics and Integrity (DAiSI). Giulia holds a bachelor's degree in European Public Health from Maastricht University and a master's in Management, Policy Analysis, and Entrepreneurship in Health and Life Sciences from Vrije University Amsterdam. Before focusing on sports ethics and integrity, Giulia worked as a researcher in various institutes and organizations, including the Polish National Institute of Public Health. She has published on the topics of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, societal compliance with COVID-19 measures and the ethical issues raised by such measures, the implementation of health technologies in healthcare systems, and the One Health approach.
