Giulia Pavone is an assistant professor and researcher at Kedge Business School. She received her Ph.D. in Management Science in December 2021, from the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole - Toulouse School of Management, with a specialization in marketing. Her thesis received two awards: the award for the best Ph.D. thesis from the Association Française du Marketing in May 2022 (AFM) and the Prix Speciale de Thèse du Cercle by Adetem in June 2022. Her research interests include the interactions between consumers and new technologies, with a particular focus on the factors affecting the intentions to use intelligent technologies such as conversational agents and autonomous vehicles, and the ethics of artificial intelligence (AI). She adopts different research approaches, such as experimental designs, field studies, simulator studies, and mixed-method approaches.
