Dr Giray Gozgor is an Associate Professor of Economics/Finance and Head of the Wealth, Inclusive Societies and Ethics (WISE) Research Cluster at the School of Management, University of Bradford. He is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA) and a Research Affiliate of the CESifo Network at the University of Munich (LMU).
Dr Gozgor has been listed among Clarivate's Highly Cited Researchers and the IDEAS/RePEc Economist Rankings (Top 1% Authors). He has also appeared in Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists Ranking in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Dr Gozgor has published over 170 papers in Web of Science (SSCI and SCIE) indexed journals, including ABS 4 and 3 journals such as Annals of Tourism Research, Energy Economics, Journal of Human Capital, Journal of Travel Research, Public Choice and many others. Dr Gozgor has been involved in projects for several national science foundations, including those in China, Turkiye and the United Kingdom.
Dr Gozgor's research interests encompass applied econometrics, climate change economics, financial economics, international economics, international finance, and international political economy.
