Former Professor of History of Psychological Sciences and Techniques at the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology at the Department of Psychology at Sapienza University of Rome, where he taught Fundamentals of General Psychology, Personality Psychology, History of Psychology, and History of Clinical Psychology. He founded and directed the online Archive of the History of Psychology (ASP) and the Laboratory of the History of Psychology at Sapienza University of Rome. A national commissioner for first- and second-tier qualifications in the Macro-Sector of Logic, History, and Philosophy of Science, he has authored over two hundred scientific papers and monographs in Italy, the United States, Brazil, and Argentina, and his articles have appeared in leading national and international journals on the history of science and psychological techniques. He authored several essays and books on the psychiatric report of Violet Gibson.
