- Digital Identity Researcher, University of Nottingham
My doctoral work is focused on the regulation of Digital Identity. My thesis focuses on the emergence of a privacy-preserving architecture within federated identity systems that are being built to provide citizen credentials to access eGovernment websites. I'm interested in how that architecture is mandated by public policy.
I have over 15 years of industry experience in IT, broadband telecommunications and digital media. I've worked directly with automation, robotics, audiovisual encoding, broadcast video, videoconferencing, front- and back-office IT, prototyping and manufacturing, and operations. I've held several management and consultant roles. Prior to becoming a researcher, I helped design, prototype and manufacture the Emmy Award-winning robotic video migration system, SAMMA.
I have a BA from the University of Chicago, and an MPS from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program.
