Geoff Thompson teaches systematic theology (doctrine) at Pilgrim Theological College in Melbourne, and is Associate Professor within the University of Divinity.
His teaching and research is focused on the nature and functions of Christian doctrine. He has published several journal articles and book chapters on the twentieth-century Swiss Reformed theologian, Karl Barth. His publications also include popular and academic books and articles on the theology of the Uniting Church in Australia.
He js a fellow of The Wesley Centre for Theology, Ethics and Public Policy.
