- Heritage consultant and lecturer, SIT Study Abroad
My teaching background began when I was an Education Officer in the Royal Air Force (1956-57). In 1966/67 I pioneered the teaching of natural resource conservation in Australia while lecturing at the ANU. From 1968 to 1986 I was a full time staff member of the Australian Conservation Foundation (as CEO from 1973). Since 2003 I have lectured in the Australian programme of the SIT Study Abroad (formerly the School for International Training) based in Vermont. I am a heritage consultant specialising in World Heritage assessment.
