Geberew Tulu Mekonnen

Dr Geberew Tulu Mekonnen is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre of Law and Justice, Charles Sturt University (CSU). Geberew holds a PhD in Education from the University of Tasmania (UTAS) in 2020. He also holds a M.Ed in Educational Development from Hiroshima University, Japan, and M.A in Linguistics from Addis Ababa University (AAU), Ethiopia. He developed a higher education governance model that accommodates the interests of university system participants, including instructors, students, lower and middle-level leaders, and senior management. Before joining CSU, he worked at the University of Tasmania in teaching, research, and research funding management. His research covered student learning assessment, teacher development, leadership, higher education policy, and at-risk youth in Australia.
