Dr. Garumma Tolu Feyissa is a faculty at Brooklyn College, City University of New York (CUNY). Dr. Feyissa is passionate about expanding evidence-based policy making in health and social care through evidence-based research and teaching.
Dr. Feyissa’s research interests include maternal and child health, mental health, and chronic diseases. He also seeks to bridge the gap between research, and policy and practice by utilizing methodologies that involve knowledge appraisal, synthesis, and translation. According to the Stanford/Elsevier’s ranking system, Dr. Feyissa has been on the list of the top 2% world scientists since 2021.
