Gabrielle Patry-Beaudoin

Gabrielle Patry-Beaudoin (gabrielle.patry-beaudoin@usherbrooke.ca) is assistant professor of marketing at École de Gestion, Université de Sherbrooke. She obtained her MSc from HEC Montréal and her PhD from Queen's University.

Her research explores consumer behaviour and consumption culture, with a focus on understanding the various belief systems, values and norms that guide the behaviours of marketplace actors. She uses qualitative research methods to develop insights of consumers’ and producers’ marketplace experiences in a variety of socio-cultural contexts, including social media, happiness, and motherhood. Gabrielle has received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Fonds de recherche du Québec.
