I am a clinician-scientist and an Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. I completed my medical training in Internal Medicine in Calgary, an academic fellowship in General Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a Master of Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

My research interests include health services and public health research focusing on the health and healthcare of refugees and high-needs socially vulnerable populations. I co-lead Refugee Health YYC, a research, education and innovation platform at the O'Brien Insitute for Public Health (www.RefugeeHealthYYC.ca).
