Dr. Charles is a public health physician in PNG with more than 10 years of experience in the clinical and PMDT in PNG. Currently he is Health Security and Pandemic Preparedness Lead and the Burnet Institute Country Director for PNG. He holds an MBBS degree from the University of Papua New Guinea and a master's degree (MPH-MBA) from James Cook University, Australia.
